QQ Protocol Plugin for Miranda IM

• 2005-02-28 Due to my work constraint, I have decided to stop developing all Miranda plugins. At the moment, Ghazan is taking over the development of the Jabber plugin, while the Tlen plugin has been under the wing of the_leech for quite some times now. The QQ plugin is extremely out-of-date. Someone could start it anew or if anyone insist on continuing with my code, please let me know.

• 2004-07-10 09:07am I'm back. Sorry for a long pause. I have been extremely busy during my last few months at school. And, it's all over now. Hope I can get more dirty with Miranda from now on. :)
• 2004-04-09 06:36am Jabber plugin 0.1.1.8 is released! It contains important bug fixes and will be included in the Miranda 0.3.3.1 package.
• 2004-04-02 10:37am Jabber plugin 0.1.1.7 is released! It will be included in the upcoming Miranda 0.3.3.1 package.
• 2004-03-29 08:22am QQ 20040329 is now available for download. It can do TCP connection, which means you may be able to use it with SOCKS4/5/HTTPS proxy. I haven't tested it much because I don't use proxy. Tell me your results.
• 2004-03-20 04:48am Jabber plugin 0.1.1.6 is released today! It is also included in the Miranda 0.3.3 package, which has just been released. In addition, the openssl dll pack provided on this page has been updated to version 0.9.7d, which fixes some serious security problems.
• 2004-02-28 03:26pm Developments has begun for the QQ protocol plugin. Currently I have all the infrasturcture in place. It can make a connection and send/receive messages. It will support both Chinese and Thai servers. Special thanks to two buddies who lend me their accounts for testing.
• 2004-02-05 11:06pm Nightly build 2004-02-04 is out. It has a fix for crash in jabber when you invite a user not selected from a list to a chatroom.
• 2004-01-19 05:39am The new beta of the Jabber plugin is in the 2004-01-18 nightly build of Miranda. It has manual registration to services, chatroom invitations, and some bug fixes.
• 2003-11-22 03:01am Beta versions of the Jabber plugin will be provided together with the nighly build of Miranda from now on. So there will be no more download for Jabber beta on this page. Tlen beta, however, is still being released through this site.
• 2003-11-17 10:00am Jabber plugin 0.1.1.5 is released today!

Latest Beta
Beta version of the Jabber plugin is now included with the nightly build package of Miranda. Please download it from Miranda test builds page. This is for testing only. Normal users should refer to the stable releases below.

Tlen protocol plugin latest beta (pre-0.1.0.3 20040518) for testing only
• Based on Jabber plugin 0.1.1.6
• Can receive web messages
• File sending (experimental)
• Fixed bug: adjust offline message time
• Remove "show invisible" option
• Note: Although you are notified when someone tries to send you a file, the file reception code is still not working.
• Source code is now separated from the Jabber plugin
• Support user typing notification (patch by Adam Libura)

QQ protocol plugin latest beta (pre-0.1.0.0 20040401) for testing only
• This is a test release. It can connect, change mode, send/receive messages, view partial contact info, and accept/reject authorization requests. Please help test and report bugs, but please do not complain about its limited features. More features will be added (slowly) when I have more time. Remember, this is not a stable release.
• Known problems: Connection is made only to the first server. If fail, it won't try other servers.

SSL support in the Jabber protocol plugin requires OpenSSL dll files (SSLEAY32.DLL and LIBEAY32.DLL) in either Miranda IM directory (where you have miranda32.exe) or Windows system directory. If you don't already have it, you can download openssl097d_dll.
